Magic Show Correction, Scott Canon and Character Word of the Week

Before we get to the Character Word of the Week winners for this week I have one correction to make regarding our contest for the BOX TOPS collection.  I had previously written that the grade which collects the most BOX TOPS will win a Magic Show, however, it is actually the class with the highest collection at each grade will win a spot at the Magic Show Assembly!!!!!  Sorry for the confusion.

 Don't forget.....this Thursday is Half Day Hat Day!!!!!!!

Expanded Learning Opportunities

Please be on the lookout for the permission slip that came home this Tuesday regarding the additional opportunities kids will have to participate in cool expanded learning opportunities.  Remember, spaces are limited so please return those forms as soon as you can.

Scott Canon

Singer/Songwriter and Author Scott Canon has been here all week with grade three writing, performing and recording original songs written and performed by students.  While they are not done with the finished product students have been having a great time.  Here are a couple of pics of the students hard at work!
