This coming Wednesday we will be hosting Step Up Day for all incoming 5th graders at the Town pool in Middleboro from 1-3. Having a positive school culture is very important to us at HBB and we look to our 5th graders every year to act as the leaders in the school. At Step Up Day, incoming 5th graders will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of team building and leadership exercises designed to develop an understanding of what it means to be a leader in the school and to truly be Burkland's BEST!
Students should be prepared to participate in activities in the pool and out of the pool. Students should also bring water with them. Parents are welcome to attend . We all begin at 1 and end at 3. We hope to see you all there!
Battle of the Books Reminder
Please don't forget that we have books available to borrow in the main office for the Battle of the Books summer reading contest. Feel free to stop by the main office on Tuesdays or Thursdays between the hours of 10-12 to browse the titles and borrow books. And don't forget to encourage your child to read this summer!!!!!
