Good Egg Award and Odds and Ends!

Good Egg Award
The coolest challenges we did this year was by far the Good Egg Award.  In order to earn the Good Egg Award students had to do something to make either HBB or their community a better place.  We were amazed by the projects of students.  We had students doing things for a bus driver that was hurt, kids landscaping the school, students donating clothes to needy children, doing things to stop bullying, increase recycling, raising money for childhood cancer just to name a few.  Clearly we have some pretty incredible kids and they did some amazing things for others and to make the community a better place.  Great job guys, we are VERY proud of you!

Spirit Wear
Anyone interested in purchasing some HBB Spirit Wear please see the attached flyer!

Book Bubble Buddies
Please check out this great project from a couple of our 8th grade students.  We have a couple of boxes in the main office for anyone interested in making a book donation.

Teacher Appreciation Month
This month our PTA has turned Teacher Appreciation Day into Teacher Appreciation Month.  Please join us in thanking our teachers for all they do.  HBB is very lucky to have such a talented, hard working and committed group of teachers.  They care passionately about the students in their care and they work tirelessly to ensure that all students receive a high quality education.  When you see your child's teacher please take a moment to say thank you!

In case you missed it!
Last night at the School Committee one of our fabulous first grade students  was awarded first place for her entry into the Where are You Headed Poster Contest!  She wants to be an astronaut when she grows up and she did a great job presenting her project!
