Attention all parents!!!

PLEASE HAVE YOUR STUDENTS WEAR THEIR BURKLAND'S BEST GEAR ON FRIDAY!!!!!

Friday we are having a whole school rally to get kids excited for MCAS.  We are very proud of the fact that our students and staff have been working exceptionally hard this year and we want to encourage our kids to work their hardest this year because this is their chance to show everyone how great HBB is!  Please help us at home too by encouraging your kids to get a good night rest, eat a healthy breakfast on testing days and encourage your kids to work their hardest.

We are very excited to announce that we will be giving out new Burkland's Best Necklaces after the rally on Friday.  Going forward all students will be given a necklace and they will be given the opportunity to earn charms for their necklace if they meet various challenges.  Our first challenge will be a reading challenge and all students will be given information on the challenge after the rally tomorrow.  Students will also be awarded beads for winning the Character Word of the Week and for meeting the Burkland's Best.  When chains are lost replacement chains will need to be purchased at the Husky Haven with Burkland's Best tickets.

So be on the lookout tomorrow, all students will be getting their necklace and their first bead.  The first bead will be a yellow ribbon in memory of Jesse.
