Walk Through Cancelled

The Walk Through Is Cancelled!
Unfortunately, the Walkthrough planned for Wed. August 26th from 10:00-11:30 will be cancelled so that needed repairs can be made to the building prior to the start of school. The repairs involve water damage that occurred before the most recent repairs to the school roof.

The Middleboro Public Schools Maintenance Department along with the Superintendent Mr. Lynch, Myself and the HBB Custodians have worked very hard to get this project completed as soon as possible. Given the size and scope of the project and the steps needed to get to this point I am thrilled that we will be completing this project before the school year starts, however, I recognize that doing it the week before is less than ideal.

While the Walk Through portion is cancelled we will still be hosting an informational session for parents and families new to HBB in the Auditorium as originally planned at 10:30 am on Wed. August 26th. Touring the building with your child will not be an option but we would still like to encourage you to join us to learn more about the nuts and bolts of HBB such as Parent Pick Up, Drop Off etc.

Canceling the Walk Through was not something we wanted to do but our number one priority at this point needs to be in making sure the building is in great condition for when our student return.

I apologize for the inconvenience and I appreciate your understanding regarding this matter. As always, should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call us and I am looking forward to seeing you all in a couple weeks!

Technology Fair
Please take a moment to read the attached flyer about the upcoming Technology Fair.  The Middle School and High School are unveiling a new Bring Your Own Device policy where students will be allowed to bring a computer/tablet to school for use in the classroom.  Because of this devices will be offered and sold to parents at a discounted price and they have extended the offer to all students of the Middleboro Public Schools.  This event is also a great opportunity to learn more about technology.  If you are interested check out the flyer below!
