Guess the State
Do you know which state Madison is the capital of?  This week Mrs. Martin's and Mrs. Reardon's class had a virtual visit with a classroom in Wisconsin and they played a game of Guess Our State.  Kids had a chance to come up one at a time to share facts about our state and they did the same until they were able to guess which state they were talking too.  They had a chance to share with one another, ask questions and they really enjoyed their virtual visit.  Thank you to Mrs. Bertelli for organizing this!

Great Teachers and Ride to School in Firetruck!

Behind every great school are great teachers and here at HBB we are blessed to have so many talented, dedicated, patient and caring educators. I couldn’t be prouder of the work our teachers do everyday. The job of a teacher is no easy task, it takes an extraordinary amount of patience and compassion and I am amazed everyday at the work they do. Your kids are in great hands when they are with us because of our teachers and they do an amazing job creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students.

Over the next couple of weeks we are taking time to extend our appreciation for our amazing teachers so please join me in saying thank you. Our teachers touch so many lives and they truly are Burkland’s BEST! Thank you for all you do!
