Anytme you have Bill Harley here visiting is a great week. Thank you to the PTA for brining in Bill Harley! Bill is an Emmy Award Winning Author/Singer who visited the school this week and spoke about his book The Spadefoot Toad. We also had him here last night for a family concert and the kids had a great time!
PARCC
If you have not heard already, we are doing PARCC this year for grades 3-5 in ELA and Math, with MCAS Science in grade 5 remaining as a requirement. Testing begins later this year and runs from April 25th – May 24th. Attendance for testing days are of the utmost importance so we are asking parents to please look at these dates closely and make sure your child is present on testing days. Below is a list of the testing dates by grade.
ELA

Grade 4 – April 26, April 29, May 4
Grade 5 – April 25, April 28, May 3

Don’t Be A Bully, Be The Impact!
We are very excited to announce that on Wed. Jan 20th we will have an assembly about bullying. Higher Impact Entertainment will be here to present their Don’t Be a Bully, Be the Impact program. They have been featured on HBO, National Geographic, NBC and all other major networks. We are very excited and looking forward to this event. We want to make sure that everyone is on the lookout for the next round of club offerings. We have some very exciting offerings for the second half of the year. Please remember that there are limited spaces available and spaces are awarded on a first come first serve basis so turn in your sign up sheets right away.

Congratulations to our winners of the BOXTOPS contest. Mrs. Enos and Mrs. Bartlett's class collected the most at their grade and Mrs. Bartlett's class collected the most in the whole school! Great Job!
