Another great week down!  This was another great week here at HBB.  We had Red Sox Day on Thursday and there was lots of learning going on all week.  Before we share the Character Word of the Week Winners for this week here are a few important reminders.....

Stranger Danger

We are asking for your help in addressing this very important topic.  Addressing the issue of what to do when confronted with a stranger is not something that should only be discussed with 1st and 2nd graders.  It is something that should be discussed with students of all age and we are asking that you please take a moment to help reinforce the message.  For helpful hints on how to talk about this issue, or what to talk about, here are two helpful websites.

Envisions Math

We are very excited about our new Math Curriculum for this year called Envisions.  This program is rigorous and challenging yet enjoyable for students.  We would like to encourage you to support your child's learning by accessing the online tools for the Envisions program.  Your child's teacher will be sending information home soon on how students can log in at home to access work, extra help etc. and for those interested in accessing the Envisions text books at home please click the following link
