Happy Vacation!
I would like to wish everyone a Happy Vacation! I hope you all have time to relax. Please remember that Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up shortly after the break. We sent home sign up sheets for conferences in the last Tuesday Folder so please be on the lookout for those. As we head into the vacation here are a few additional things to make note of.

Community Forum for High School Building Project
The next Community Forum for the High School Building Project is scheduled for this Wednesday, February 15th at 7 pm. The Forum will be held at the Town Hall in the Ballroom/Auditorium. Please consider attending and learning more about the plans and progress made to date.

Congratulations Ella!!
Congratulations Ella!
We would like to take a moment to Congratulate our very own Ella Morrison for winning the Prudential Spirit of Community Award. This award is the largest youth award in the country recognizing community service and Ella is one of only 2 winners in the State. Ella is being recognized for her work raising money for Pediatric Cancer research through Ella's Lemonade Stand. Please take a moment to read the attached document. Great Job Ella, you truly are Burkland's!!

After School Clubs and the Providence Bruins
After School Clubs
After school clubs begin next week so we ask that all parents please pay close attention to the calendar and the schedule that was sent home detailing the meeting dates and times. Students who are signed up for a club will not be sent home on the bus on days the club meets unless we receive a note. Clubs end at 4:30 pm and we ask that all parents please be on time when picking your child up.
Arts Festival
Please mark your calendars for March 10th and plan on joining us for a FUN, FREE Family Activity! Ms. Wheeler is putting on and Art Show where students work will be displayed and there will fun activities for the whole family. We will have Face Painting, Clay, Games, Music, Sand Art and More!!
Save the Date
Please mark your calendars for Friday April 7th for our annual Staff Basketball Game!!!! There will be much more information coming soon.
BOXTOPS
It’s time to start collecting those BOXTOPS again! Which class will win the trophy this time? Deadline for submission is February 17th!

We are looking for students who are interested in submitting their art work that may be selected for the cover of the Annual Town Report Cover. The folks at Town Hall are looking for images that celebrate the beauty of Middleboro! Images should be related to the beauty and richness of the town of Middleboro. You can submit your images to Ms. Wheeler! Admissions must be submitted by March 20th! Anyone who participates OUTSIDE of the classroom will receive an art bead for their necklace! Winners will be recognized by town hall and their image will be on the cover of the Town Report!
